Product description
This robe is based on originals from the Middle Ages and Renaissance. It reaches to the ground, has a hood and is worn open. Optionally you can wear a belt around your waist to close the robe. The robe has long sleeves and a hood to pull over your head. The fabric is a textured cotton, making it visually look like a rough and heavy fabric while in reality it is fairly soft and light. Historically, robes such as these were often worn by travelers such as pilgrims, merchants, knights, and the like. Such a garment protected (expensive) clothing on sandy roads and mud roads against all kinds of dirt. You could also use a robe to sleep in at night.
