Leather straps to make your own belt

Do you want to make your own belt for your LARP, reenactment, or Cosplay costume? With our leather straps, you can create a beautiful belt. It is sturdy leather, and you can use an awl or hole punch to create holes for the buckle and the belt fitting. You can decorate the belt as you wish! For example, you can burn or carve patterns into the leather, such as Celtic knots. Our belt straps are also very handy for armor and other crafting projects.

How to attach buckles and belt fitting to the belt

Ensure that the buckle or the belt fitting is not too wide for the leather you have chosen. On the back of the belt fitting, there are pins with caps. Punch holes in the leather where you want to insert the belt fitting. Insert the pins through and secure them with the caps. Your belt is ready! There is also belt fitting without caps. These pins are thinner, and you can bend them or hammer them with a rubber hammer to secure them. There are also narrow buckles without pins. For these buckles, you thread the leather through and sew the pieces of leather together.
