Product description
This piece of jewelry, inspired by ancient Celtic motifs, features a triskelion decorated with Celtic knots and three spirals, symbolizing eternity or immortality. In European paganism and Celtic culture, the triskelion likely represented eternal connection, immortality, or loyalty. Today, Neo-Pagan groups interpret the symbol in various ways, depending on their reconstructive approach. The Celtic knots adorning the triskelion form an infinite pattern. Archaeological finds of jewelry, stone carvings, and manuscripts such as the Book of Kells demonstrate that these knots played a prominent role in Celtic artistic tradition, often in contexts with spiritual or ceremonial significance. The spirals, also an infinite symbol, are arranged in a triadic form, like the triskelion itself. In graves and sacred sites such as Newgrange in Ireland, a Neolithic structure later associated with Celtic traditions, spirals are carved. This piece of jewelry thus references immortality and the cyclical nature of life. In Celtic mythology, the world is often depicted as cyclical, with seasons, birth, death, and rebirth forming an endless cycle. Spirals and knots reinforce this symbolism, particularly when placed on ritual objects or in religious contexts.
