Marcus Tullius Cicero was a famous Roman politician and philosopher. He lived in the bloody 1st century BC, when the Roman Republic evolved into the Roman Empire. Cicero was witness to the murder of Caesar in March 44 BC, but did not take part in the complot. Cicero and Marcus Antonius were the two greatest figures in the Roman politics, where Cicero strived for preserving the Republic.
This bust is made of plaster alabaster. The bust is 25 cm high.
