Product description

This beautiful amulet features the Celtic Tree of Life, with its branches and roots intertwining in an endless pattern. The design creates a cosmic dance with the tree at the center, symbolizing the interconnectedness of all life. The amulet measures 3.8 x 3 cm, including the loop.

In Celtic culture, the Tree of Life represented harmony and balance, as trees were central to their beliefs. Known as crann bethadh in Celtic, the Tree of Life brought together the forces of nature in unity. This symbol's origins date back even earlier to ancient Egypt, where the tree represented both life and death, with its branches reaching to the sky and its roots connecting to the underworld.

The tree also connected heaven and earth in Celtic thought. The branches intertwined, providing homes for creatures, while the roots symbolized the deep connections between all living things. The tree was seen as a symbol of strength, wisdom, longevity, and rebirth, as it shed its leaves in autumn and renewed itself in spring, reflecting the eternal cycle of nature.
