Product description
This high quality Viking knife is based on a find from Gotland, Sweden, from around the ninth / tenth century. The back of the knife has, just like the original, a black oxidation layer that gives it a rustic appearance. Typical for Gotland knives is a grip made of walnut wood, with a bone ring at the bottom and a brass plate. The end of the grip has a brass ring, to fasten a leather lace for example. The leather scabbard is richly decorated with brass fittings, in the Gotland style. It has a ring so that you can hang it on your belt using a lace. The knife is sharp and suitable for practical use such as cutting wood, leather and other materials.

Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your weapons regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper. Remove burrs with a whetstone. Make sure you have removed all burrs before using a battle-ready weapon, as they can cause wounds.

Maintenance & care
Just as with weaponry, you can care for your shoes and leatherware by applying a little Ballistol after cleaning. This prevents the leather from drying out.
