Product description

Ideal for reenactment, events and festivals. This Hnefatafl game is made of leather and can be worn as a pouch when you fold it. The game is decorated with ravens and a knot motif. The playing pieces are included. An intriguing board game that has its origins in the Viking era, Hnefatafl is a strategic and engaging game that reflects the spirit of the ancient Scandinavian warriors. Also known as 'the king's table', Hnefatafl revolves around the confrontation between two opposing forces - the king and his defenders against the attacking forces. The board consists of a grid field, with the king as the central point, surrounded by his loyalists. The challenge is to guide the king safely to a corner of the board, while the opponent does everything they can to surround him. This game, with its depth and historical significance, not only offers strategic fun, but also provides a fascinating glimpse into the tactics and thinking of the Vikings.

Maintenance & care
Just as with weaponry, you can care for your shoes and leatherware by applying a little Ballistol after cleaning. This prevents the leather from drying out.

When packaging this item, we exclusively use 100% recycled plastic and recycled paper/cardboard from FSC certified forests. We reuse a large part of the material directly without the intervention of a recycling process.
Recycle the material by separating your waste:
1. Cardboard: separate or reuse your paper.
2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
