Description
This beautiful Viking dress is based on excavations of original textile remains from the early Middle Ages. Dresses like this were worn by itself or over another dress during colder weather. The dress shows a stunning contrast of two colors. Such color contrasts were common during the early Middle Ages. Gussets are triangular pieces of fabric that are sewn into the skirt to shape the garment to the body, to make the skirt wider and they also provide more freedom of movement. Gussets were used in almost every early medieval dress. This dress is great for re-enactment, historic LARP and Cosplay of series like Vikings or Last Kingdom.
