This Viking amulet is a replica of the 10th century original excavated in Stora Ryk. Nowadays it is part of the collection of the National Museum in Sweden. This jewel is part of the silver hoard of Stora Ryk excavated at the Norwegian border. Presumably the hoard was buried during an attack by an enemy tribe.
