This beautiful and elegant Renaissance belt fitting is based on 15th-16th century originals excavated in England and Wales. The rose was the weapon of the Welsh Tudor family. Its well-known descendants are King Henry VII, Henry VIII, Henry VIII, Edward VI, Queen Mary I (Bloody Mary) and Elisabeth I.
Belt fitting like this was worn all over Tudor England. Originals have been excavated in i.a. The Mary Rose. This brass belt fitting has a diameter of 2,5 cm and is sold per set of 5 pieces.
