Product description

Elisabeth I was the daughter of Anne Boleyn and king Henry VIII, and was the last monarch from the house of Tudor. England thrived under her rule, which was between 1558 and 1603. The English culture blossomed as well: this was the time of William Shakespeare, the famous playwright. Elisabeth also defeated the Spanish Armada in 1558. On portraits, she is shown in expensive clothing, wearing beautiful jewels with pearls and gems. These jewels were costly and were only worn by nobility to show their wealth and power. This Tudor necklace is based on Elisabeth's jewels.
