Product description

A beautiful wooden knight shield, based on medieval shields of the Knights Templar. Perfect for medieval reenactment and Cosplay of movies like Kingdom of Heaven and Arn Templar Knight. This model shield is also called kite shield. The Knights Templar used such shields in sword and shield combination during sword fighting. Such shields were quite compact, so convenient to carry for a knight on horseback. Shields like this were used during the Crusades. It is painted in black and white. It is made of wood covered with canvas. You can also paint it in the colors of your own coat of arms. It has adjustable arm straps and a padded arm protection on the back. Great for home decoration and for your own medieval armory. Also beautiful for a medieval costume.
