Product description

This bronze buckle is made after the 6th-7th century Anglo-Saxon buckle excavated in Sutton Hoo. The original is part of the collection of the British Museum. Buckles like this were worn by the Germanic and Frankish tribes between the 6th and 8th century.

This buckle is completely handmade and has a dark bronze finish. It measures 13 x 6 cm. Just like the original it can be attached to the belt with three round decorations.

It is suitable for a belt width of 5-6 cm and the opening measures 3 cm.

Packaged with 100% recycled material
When packaging this item, we exclusively use 100% recycled plastic and recycled paper/cardboard from FSC certified forests. We reuse a large part of the material directly without the intervention of a recycling process.
Recycle the material by separating your waste:
1. Cardboard: separate or reuse your paper.
2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
