Celtic WebMerchant cares for your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (the improvement of) our service and are careful with the information that we have collected about you and your use of our services. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy policy applies to the website of, and the services provided by Celtic WebMerchant. The starting date for the validity of these conditions is 02/11/2023, the validity of all previous versions expires with the publication of a new version. This privacy policy describes which data we collect about you, for what purpose we use these data and with whom and under which circumstances these data could be shared with third parties. We also explain in which way we store you data, how we protect your data against abuse, and which rights you have with respect to the personal data you provided us with. Webshopsoftware
Lightspeed
Our webshop is developed with software from Lightspeed. Personal data that you provide us with for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. Lightspeed has access to your data to offer us (technical) support and will never use your data for any other purpose. Lightspeed is obliged to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have made with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Lightspeed uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data are collected and/or stored. Lightspeed reserves the right to share collected data within its own concern in order to further improve the service.
Web hosting and emails
TransIP
We use webhosting services from TransIP. TransIP processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party might collect meta data regarding the use of the services. These are not personal data. TransIP has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent loss and unauthorised use of your personal data. TransIP is obliged to observe secrecy on the basis of the agreement.
Transip, Zendesk
We use the services of TransIP and Zendesk for our regular corporate email traffic. These parties have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. TransIP nor Zendesk have access to our inbox and we treat all of our e-mail traffic as confidential.
Newsletters
Inboxify
We make use of Inboxify, a third party that handles the sending of our newsletters. Inboxify processes your name and email address. Inboxify will not use this data for its own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail that is sent automatically via Inboxify, there is an 'unsubscribe' link. By clicking and confirming this link, you will stop receiving our newsletters. Your personal data are stored by Inboxify securely. Inboxify uses cookies and Google Analytics, which provide insight in whether e-mails are opened and read. The data collected by Google Analytics, including the address of your computer (IP-address), are transmitted to and stored by Google in the United States. Inboxify does not permit Google to use the obtained analytical information for other Google services, has obliged them to partially anonymise your IP-addresses and has made a processing agreement with Google.
Payment processors
Multisafepay
We use the platforms of Multisafepay for handling (part of) the payments of our webshop. Multisafepay processes your name, address and place of residence, and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Multisafepay has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Multisafepay reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share (anonymised) data with third parties in the context thereof. All the above-mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Multisafepay's services for which they engage third parties. Multisafepay does not store your data longer than allowed on the basis of the legal terms.
Paypal
We use the platforms of Paypal for handling (part of) the payments of our webshop. Paypal processes your name, address, place of residence and the e-mail address you use for Paypal, and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Reviews
WebwinkelKeur
We collect reviews through the platform of WebwinkelKeur. When you submit a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are obliged to provide a name and e-mail address. WebwinkelKeur shares these date with us, so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you for an explanation to your review. When we invite you to submit a review, we share your name and e-mail address with WebwinkelKeur. They only use these data with the purpose of inviting you to submit a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties for the purpose of providing the service, we have given WebwinkelKeur permission for this. All the above-mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of WebwinkelKeur's services for which they engage third parties.
Shipping and logistics
PostNL, DHL, GLS, UPS, DPD
When placing a order with us, it is our job to have your parcel delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL, DHL, GLS, UPS and DPD for the execution of the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence, depending on which party executes the shipment of your order. PostNL, DHL, GLS, UPS and DPD only use these data for the execution of the agreement. Should PostNL, DHL, GLS, UPS or DPD engage subcontractors, PostNL, DHL, GLS, UPS or DPD will also share your data to these parties.
Monta
When you place an order with us, we would like you to have an indication of when you can expect your order. We would like you to be able to select a shipment service, and we would like to print the labels of this shipment service. For this, we use Monta WMS, a third party that provides for processes behind webshop logistics. For this purpose, Monta WMS processes your name, address, place of residence, telephone number and email address. Monta WMS also processes the contents of your order. Monta WMS has access to your data to give us (technical) support and to pass on your data to the carrier of your choice, they will never use your data for other purposes. Monta WMS automatically anonymises your personal data 90 days after shipment of your order.
Invoicing and accounting
Exact
For recording our administration and accounting we use the services of Exact. We share your name, address and place of residence and details regarding your order. This data is used for the administration of sales invoices. Your personal details are transmitted and stored securely. Exact is obliged to observe secrecy and will treat your data confidentially. Exact does not use your personal data for other purposes than described above.
Extra functionalities
vErify
AbandonedCart recovery
We make use of the application Abandoned Cart recovery by Combidesk. When you are registered and logged into your account, Combidesk processes your name, e-mail address and the contents of your shopping cart. Combidesk ensures that you receive an e-mail when your shopping cart has been abandoned. This means we can help you better, should you meet any problems during checkout. The e-mails that are sent, are handled through the server of TransIP. Combidesk will not use this data for its own purposes.
Purpose of data processing
General purpose of the processing
We only use your data for the purpose of our services. This means, that the purpose of the processing is always directly related with the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. When you share your data with us, and we use these data to contact you at a later time - other than at your request -, we will ask your explicit permission for this. Your data will not be shared with any third parties, other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all obliged to maintain secrecy on the basis of the agreement between them and us, or an oath or legal obligation.
Automatically collected data
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. These data (for example your IP-address, webbrowser and operating system) are no personal data.
Cooperation in tax and criminal investigation
In some cases, Celtic WebMerchant may be held to share your data on the basis of a legal obligation, in connection with tax or criminal investigation from the government. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities that the law offers us.
Retention periods
We will retain your information for as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also perceive this as a forgetting request. On the basis of applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, we will keep this data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in connection with your order.
Your rights
On the basis of the applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a subject have certain rights with regard to the personal data that are processed by or on behalf of us. We explain below which rights these are and how you can invoke these rights.
In principle, in order to prevent abuse, we will send duplicates and copies of your data only to your already known e-mail address. In the event that you wish to receive the data at another e-mail address or for example by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of completed requests, in the case of a forgetting request we administer anonymous data. You will receive all duplicates and copies of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems.
You have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority at any time if you suspect that we are using your personal data in the wrong way.

You can submit a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy issues. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you cancel the restriction.
Right of transferability
You always have the right to have the data that we process or have processed that relate to your person or that can be traced back to you, be executed by another party. You can submit a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy issues. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you duplicates or copies of all information about you that we have processed or that have been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties, to the e-mail address known to us. In all probability, we will no longer be able to continue the service in such a case, because the secure linking of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.
Right of objection and other rights
In such cases you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Celtic WebMerchant. If you object, we will immediately stop the data processing pending the settlement of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make duplicates and / or copies of data that we process or have processed available to you and then permanently discontinue the processing.

Google Analytics
Through our website, cookies are placed from the American company Google as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and get reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be obliged to provide access to these data on the basis of applicable laws and regulations.
