Discover the new Rusvik Viking collection by Burgschneider! The Vikings in Eastern Europe were known as the Rusvik Vikings. These Vikings, renowned for their trading acumen and maritime skills, likely played a significant role in the cultural exchange between Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. They were possibly involved in the formation of early medieval states such as the Kievan Rus. The Tobiasz Rusvik Tunic showcases a striking contrast between white and a deep Bordeaux color at the hem, collar, and buttons along the side of the neckline. Historically, such contrasting garments signified wealth. Side slits on the tunic provide improved mobility. This tunic style was traditionally worn with a belt and primarily served as a means to display social status while safeguarding the kaftan or coat worn over it.
