Product description
This helmet is a replica of a bascinet with klappvisor from 1370. The klappvisor was one of the earliest types of visors that was attached to the bascinet. Later, the characteristic dog's snout was also used. This bascinet offers the best of both worlds. It protects the head and when orders are given, the visor can be folded up. During the middle of the battle, the face remains well protected by the klappvisor. The visor is equipped with a loose belt strap that can be fastened around the helmet. This is for extra safety. At the bottom edge, this bascinet is provided with vervelles to which a mail collar can be attached. The inside of this helmet is provided with a custom-adjustable textile helmet inlay and chin strap.
