Product description
In the Middle Ages, women covered their hair with a veil, hat, cap or wimple. Showing the hair was definitely not decent. Only ladies without a low social status, such as prostitutes, walked around with uncovered hair. Examples of medieval hair covers for women can be seen in for example medieval books of hours, stained glass windows and on painted panels. This wimple can be worn in different ways, a few examples can be seen in the images. You can wear it historically correctly for reenactment, or as a turban or any other way you prefer for LARP, Cosplay or festivals.
