Product description
This Roman subarmalis is a replica of originals depicted on various Roman sculptures. The subarmalis was worn underneath the Lorica hamata and Lorica segmentata, but on sculptures it is most frequently depicted under the musculata. The musculata was usually worn by great Roman generals and emperors. This subarmalis is made of 2-3 mm thick leather and shows the characteristic leather pteruges (fringes) showing under the plate armour. It is fully functional and can be adjusted to the correct size.

Maintenance & care
Just like weapons, you can rub your shoes and leatherware with a layer of Ballistol after use. This protects the leather from drying out.
