Miyamoto Musashi (1584-1645) is perceived as the best katana warrior ever. This katana is based on 17th century originals and is named after him.
This katana has a 1045 carbon steel blade with a hardness of 55 HRC. It is made in the Shinogi-Zukuri style with Hohlkehle (Bo-Hi). The razor sharp blade is finished with Hamon.
The grip is made in the classical Hineri-Maki style. It is wrapped round with shagreen and rough woven cotton. The grip is provided with two bamboo stifts (Mekugi), with which it is fastened to the tang (nakago).
This katana is delivered including a wooden scabbard. The scabbard is made in the Kuroro style.
This katana is 103 cm long with a 72 cm blade and weighs 1000 grams.

2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
