Product description

This tomahawk is a replica of the historic Hudson Bay axe. Fortune hunters who wanted to make their money at Hudson's Bay in the wilderness of northeastern Canada always needed an axe to make their way through the vast forests and swamps. The versatility of this axe made it the indispensable tool for anyone making their living in the wilderness. This tomahawk is suitable for chopping wood, as a hammer for hitting nails and the like, and as a weapon. This hawk is precision forged from high quality 1055 carbon steel and tempered. It has a sturdy shaft of walnut wood, which is also available separately.
