Product description
Inspired by the mediaeval gugel hood style from Germany, this hood is made from herring-bone pattern wool with polyester light and dark brown fur trim. It works well on top of another garment, as they were normally worn in the Middle Ages. Typically, this would be a shirt or a tunic, where the hood was added as extra protection from the weather, especially in winter with the fur trim. It ties together at the neck with a leather cord so that you can adjust it to fit.
