This Viking amulet is a replica of a 10th century original excavated in Gnezdovo in Smolensk. Together with other Viking objects, it is part of the Gnezdovo Viking hoard. The jewel is an image of a Viking warrior, jarl or god. He has a long beard, a mustache and long hair.
