Introducing a noble version of the Dragon Samurai sword. Today, the dragon continues to hold significant importance in Japan, not only during New Year's celebrations. Unlike Western mysticism, the dragon is regarded as a mystical creature in Japan, believed to bring good fortune to people. The katana features a hand-forged blade made of carbon steel with a delicate hamon, crafted using traditional tempering techniques. The sharp blade incorporates a hi (groove) to reduce overall weight. The tsuba shows a dragon encircling the sword. The handle (tsuka) is meticulously crafted from wood, adorned with authentic fish skin, and adorned with two menukis. Additionally, it is traditionally wrapped with black cotton. The tang is notably long and secured with two bamboo pegs (mekugi). The scabbard (saya) is crafted from wood, while the blade collar (habaki) is made of brass. This sword is faithfully crafted based on original museum exhibits. It comes accompanied by a certificate of origin, delicately wrapped in cloth, and packaged in a high-quality wooden box.

Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your weapons regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper. Remove burrs with a whetstone. Make sure you have removed all burrs before using a battle-ready weapon, as they can cause wounds.
When packaging this item, we exclusively use 100% recycled plastic and recycled paper/cardboard from FSC certified forests. We reuse a large part of the material directly without the intervention of a recycling process.
Recycle the material by separating your waste:
1. Cardboard: separate or reuse your paper.
2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse your plastic. If possible, pierce the cushions with a volume reduction needle.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove these, then separate your paper and plastic.
