Product description
The kite shield was an evolution of the Norman drop-shaped shield which became smaller around 1250 and the top became rounded. As a result the shield was more practical to use and it could be used by both cavalry and infantrymen.
This kite shield is made of 1,2 cm thick wood. It is painted white so you can easily paint it in your desired colour or your coat-of-arms. The back has a grip. The shield measures 68 x 51 cm and weighs 1,5 kg.
