Product description
This helmet is made after a late-Roman equestrian helmet found in Rainau-Buch (Germany). Although it closely resembles a galea, the ordinary legionary helmet, this model is more streamlined and the cheek protectors are bigger.
The helmet is made of brass and is provided with a large neck- and eyebrow plate. The cheek plates can be fastened to one another. It weighs approx. 3 kg and is suitable for a head circumference up to 60 cm. It is delivered including an arming cap for wearing comfort.
