Product description

This stater is a replica coin made after originals that were minted by the Celtic (Gaulish) tribe the Amori in Britain during the 1st century BC. This stater is inspired by coins from the classical world. One side depicts a Celtic head. The hairs are combed back with chalk. The face is possibly painted with spiral-shaped motives. The other side depicts a galloping horse in the style typical for the La Tène period. This coin is made of leadless pewter.
