Product description
This filigree bronze comb pendant is inspired by a Bronze Age find from Flädje, near Alfshög in Halland, Sweden. The original bronze comb was discovered in a burial pit located approximately 1 km west of the river Ätran. Dating back to the Bronze Age, period V, it was acquired by the Statens Historiska Museum in 1852.
Small bronze combs from the Scandinavian Bronze Age are frequently found at various archaeological sites and were likely used not only for hair grooming but also for beard care. The design of this comb includes a sun wheel, a recurring motif in Bronze Age culture, and it is fully functional as a comb.
The pendant is crafted from high-quality bronze. You can wear the comb as a pendant around the neck or attached to clothing or a belt. The dimensions of the bronze comb pendant are 4.7 x 3.7 cm, closely matching the original historical model.
