The wolf has always been a symbol of strength, courage, and freedom in various cultures, including Celtic, Germanic, and Viking traditions. In Celtic mythology, the wolf was often associated with the gods of war and hunting, symbolizing the power needed to survive in a harsh and unpredictable world. During the Viking Age, berserkers dressed as wolves. In the context of the koryos, ritual raiding bands of young men, the wolf also symbolized strength and courage.
