Medieval helmet shop
Are you considering buying a medieval helmet for reenactment, LARP, a medieval costume or for a museum or home decoration? On this page you can find all the medieval helmets in our collection. You can choose to see the overview of all medieval helmets, or choose the specific type you are looking for. We have kettle hats, cabassets, bascinets, sallets, barbutes and armets, among others. All helmets are based on real authentic medieval helmets from history and museum pieces.
Renaissance helmets & early modern helmets
In our shop you can also find Renaissance helmets and helmets from the early modern period. For example we have barbutes and armets. These are 15th century helmets that were worn in the late Middle Ages and Renaissance. You will also find morions and burgonets here, helmets from the early modern period. Morions, for example, are the helmets from the Eighty Years' War.
Medieval helmets for medieval reenactment and LARP by Deepeeka, Mytholon, Epic Armoury, Windlass and other brands
When you are going to fight in a LARP battle or only wear a helmet for decoration with your medieval or Renaissance costume, it is recommended to use a thinner steel thickness such as 1 to 1.3 mm. These helmets are lighter and comfortable to wear for a long time. In reenactment battles you need a thicker steel thickness (usually 1.5 mm and higher), please also request information from your reenactment group. You can find the steel thickness of our helmets in the product description.
