Product description

This fibula is a replica of a 6th century original excavated in grave 22, Chessell Down (Isle of Wight, England). This Anglo-Saxon fibula is decorated with typical motives of the Great Migration. Similar fibulae were worn by Germanic people, like the Franks, Merovingians and Lombards, from North-West Europe to North Italy.

This fibula is made of bronze and measures 9 x 4 cm.
