This belt fitting is a replica of a set excavated in tomb 2 in Balingen. Belts like this were worn by all Germanic tribes between the 5th and 6th century. Similar originals were found in a large diversity.
This set consists of one belt buckle, one piece that was attached to the place where the belt buckle was fastened, one belt end and one piece of fitting.
This set is handmade of brass. It is suitable for a belt with a width of 4 cm.
