This gambeson is made after 15th century originals. This model gambeson was often worn under medieval, late medieval and Renaissance plate armour. The 15th century aristocracy was very fashionable and this gambeson is made in the style of fashionable doublets. This gambeson is made of suede leather which gives it an extra authentic look. Leather straps and aiglets can be fastened to the gambeson, to which the armor can be attached. The gambeson can be closed at the front with laces. The outside of this gambeson is made of suede leather. The inside is made of breathable cotton and wool felt.
